Calling October Mums-to-be

I had my little girl yesterday morning and didn't realise how close to giving birth to her at home I actually was. I went from not dilated at all and the MW not being able to reach my cervix properly, to waters breaking at home 3 hours later. We arrived at the hospital an hour after my waters went and I was at 8cm and already pushing! And that was only because OH dragged me in, I thought I could labour more at home. But she was in a hurry to arrive. She arrived after 1hour 26minutes of pushing, in the water. Weighing 7lb 10oz. We're absolutely besotted with her.
