Can being on birth control for a month increase your chances of conceiving

I don't know about for a month, but yes, there is sometimes a fertility surge in the months immediately after being on the pill (I believe it's the combination pill, not the mini pill, specifically) and some fertility specialists do recommend going on to the pill for a short period of time and then stopping to try to take advantage of the surge in fertility when infertility has been otherwise unexplained. I got pregnant easily 2nd cycle coming off the pill and there are loads of ladies who get pregnant before even having a period that first month, so it is definitely possible. I have a friend who has fallen pregnant twice now the first cycle, like within days of taking her last pill, without even getting her period. Not sure if a month would be long enough though or if they would recommend a few months on first. My friend and I are both in our 30s and were on the pill for 12+ years when we stopped and got BFPs right away.

Sometimes yes because your giving your ovaries a rest , sometimes BC can be over suppressive and take a month or two for cycles to get back to normal, depends on the person.
