Can Femara give false positives?

I took Femara cycle days 3-7. I went for my ovulation scan on 9/14/18 (yesterday) and was told I have a few eggs measuring at 10 mm and I would probably ovulate sometime next week.

I have been taking OPKs this whole time and I got a blazing positive today. How can I get a positive OPK when my eggs are 10 mm and doctor doesn't think till next week. Can Femara give me a false OPK.

Anyone have experience with this?

I'm not sure if Femara can, but I know that OPKs might not be accurate for people with PCOS. You might also be ovulating in three days? I get positives for about 3 days and my fertility app always puts my ovulation on that third day. Would that be closer to the date your doctor suggested?

She was originally hoping 14th and after that scan she said next week. No date. I got a positive the 15th and 17th.
