Can i loose my plug this early???

well wen going to the toilet not long ago i wiped and there was like a snotty blob like jelly disharge on the paper sorry (tmi) it was see through but it was like a creamy colour, could this be my pluf if so what does it mean when it starts 2 come away thanks ladies xx

I had some come away at about 27wks and at about 34wks.... it wasnt bloody just clear blob of jelly. Apparently it can grow back.

I did too when it happened, scared me to death ..... came straight one here to ask the girls!!! ha ha

Yeh it can come away quite early on hun, it grows back apparently!! When its start to become tinged with blood I think u r getting closer to D-Day! x

your mucus plug regenerates itself all the time If it wasn't bloody then it was probably just an excess amount of cervical mucus, it tends to increase at the end of pregnancy ... another glamorous symptom of being pregnant

I lost a bit of mine today, it has gone in tiny dribs and drabs for the last 8weeks or so but today there was quite a bit more. It doesn't have to be bloody to mean your getting close to labour though, mine wasn't with DS but I lost some large blobs over 2days. I wouldn't worry if you did lose quite big bits either though 1. your only a couple of days off being classed as full term and 2. it can be another week or more til labour starts
