I have a lot of stress at my job, although I only work part time. I also get very bad back pains, even standing for longer than 20 minutes kills my back. And the job I had would require me to be on my feet running around for 6+ hours at a time. Anyways, if I tell my Doctor about my back always hurting due to having to stand for 6+ hours at my job, and how the stress is a little much for me, can I request to be pulled out of work? Or is that only a decision the Doctor will make if they feel necessary? I want to collect TDI where I live (temporary disability) so that my DH isn't completely drowning in bills and so I can have a little income for myself, so in order to do that I need Doctor approval to file my TDI claim. Assuming I can even collect blah.

I don't know what the laws and requirements are for that sort of thing where you live, but I don't think you'd be out of line to ask your doctor about it. The worst s/he can do is say no

Just tell your doctor that your coworkers are horrid, your back hurts, standing too much, they're not accomodating you, etc. and he may sign you off of work....

it's worth a shot!

I hope so! My coworkers are all so horrible to me, that's what definitely causes my stress. I just didn't know if my Doctor would look at me like I have ten heads because I'm only gonna be 22 weeks at my appt and I'm already asking to leave my job. But she's super nice, I hope it works out.

Tell your doctor, he will prob put you on bed rest
