I know they're mostly for toddler but it's a rhyme time stay and play and I think he'll love the music if nothing else. He adores being around other children and we don't know anyone with babies and don't want him to miss out, plus I am desperate for some adult company and there's nothing else. Would it be okay or will I be completely out of place do you think?

i started taking my baba to stay and play 2 weeks ago when he was 12 weeks he just likes looking at the other babies. Also i agree its nice to talk to people. The place has a sensory room which he likes 2.

Lyla first went to group when she was about 8weeks! It was a group I went to with my son previously. After the summer hols, he went to school & lyla took his place! We have toys & activities out, then snack and then singing at the end. She doesn't really pay much attention at the mo, but I catch up with friends & it will get her used to how it all works for when she's bigger. Like sing time is also Sitting down time!

I started taking my daughter to groups when she was 5 weeks. If anything it gets you out of the house and talking to mums about things you are going through and your LO will enjoy a new environment. It's great now as my daughter is older she is able to interact a lot more but also seeing all the other babies growing and developing too.

I took my DS a couple of mnths ago with my niece and he loved it. There was a sensory room that he loved and loads of different baby toys. The only reason we haven't gone back was as its on over his morning nap and he just won't sleep in the car but I will try again when he's a bit older or better sleeper
You should go you'll both have lots of fun :)

I've refrained from going until now as there were no other babies close to his age there (hard to imagine!) but now he's sitting up and actively playing I'm going to start going in the next week or two..if anything he enjoys playtime with mummy so at the very least it will be a new environment for him.

My sure start centre does a play group just for babies non walkers I think it's for, I started taking Jamie at 12 weeks he loved just watching everyone

There's one for non-movers on Fridays but I am sick of sitting in TBH! It's unfair on LO because he adores other children and never gets to meet any.
