Can injuring your breast affect breastfeeding

I was loading the stroller into the trunk of the car and the stroller slammed hard into my right boob (not to mention it is quite engorged atm) it was painful and now I'm worried that my milk is going to go away in that boob or something...I know how weird that sounds but I get worried over the weirdest things you could imagine!!

Have a look at your boob in the mirror, checking underneath. You might notice a ref kinda spot mark. I've had a few from walking into things whilst over-tired.

If you do see the marks, you'll also notice a bit of a lump- massage it whilst bambino is eating to loosen it out. It'll kind of move down & out, then disappear. If it doesn't, you can run a comb over it whilst LO is eating.

I think your milk will be fine

I was going to say the same thing.

but want to add if you get a lump coming up like a large spot go to your Dr as a friend of mine ended up with an absess after getting a bash on her breast. Didnt affect her feeding but was sore.
