Can someone help me understand what this is please

Got an appointment leter though today for next february when i'll be roughly 34 weeks to attend an Antenatal SHO clinic. What is that? I have no idea, been googling it but can't find anything. Have they just missed out a letter or printed it wrong maybe?

Well SHO is just a name for a doctor.. It's probably just the normal antenatal appointment maybe?

Honestly don't know but seems strange they are already booking appointments for next Feb - what about all your other antenatel appointments between now and then?

Ah thanks Fizzy Pop I didn't realise that. I was talking to my husband about it and he thinks its Senior House Officer, so i looked on my list of appointments and apparently a scan is around that time to maybe thats what its for.

It is kinda strange for an appointment so far ahead lol. I do have the 20 week scan appointment already so maybe they just book those way in advance?

It's a consultant appointment at hospital. Your other appointments will be with the midwife. Have you had a booking in appointment and told you will have shared mw/hospital care rather than the standard low risk midwife led care?
