can someone help with clomid side effects

Whilst talking my clomid I got some mild side effects, nothing much to write home about so not to bothered but this week (ov) there back! Feel absolutly shattered and getting horrible foggy headaches and wierdly its uncomfortable to lie on my side if my legs are together (not that I want them that way this week mind! lol) what could this be, have had slight twinges for couple of days but thats on my left side and I was told the follie is on the right so that doesnt make sense to me either!

Make sense to anyone? xx

are you taking it at night? i took mine at night and had no bad side effects.
you shouldn't be having effects of clomid during OV week though because that would mean you stopped taking it a few days ago....not sure what it could be... really hope someone can offer better advice than me, but wanted to help you out as much as i can.

Thanks, Im still at a loss to it but it stopped after possible ov so not to worried just not looking forward to the next lot xx

I consider myself lucky on Clomid as didn't get too many side effects, however, still had some.

I had several hot flushes - nasty experience!!!! VERY VERY moody and emotional. Also I could almost feel that egg popping out of the follicle just before ovulation! I had such horrendous pains in my ovary I could hardly walk! For about an hour or two sitting down was painful, walking was painful, so I was curled up in bed. We still BD'ed but it was agony!!!

So I think what you are experiencing is pretty normal for Clomid!!

yeah i agree with mariaf CLOMID can do strange things especially if you are a high dosage, I was on 100mg before but now i am only on 50mg and its been a completly different exprience i don't even know what day i ovulated this month so i am very confused lol good luck hum hope you get you nfp soon xxxx

Hey there I am on my first round of clomid and its a relief to hear someone else is experiencing emotional side effects.... I have been horrendous with uncontrolable crying and anger bursts! Luckily I take my last tablet tonight.

Anyone had a problem sleeping? I have not slept properly since I started taking it and that coupled with the mood swings is not good!

Hi hun, I had a problem sleeping at night but was constantly tired and wanting to close my eyes all the time, are you taking them at night, I found the last tab I didnt get so many effects when I did xx

I had horrendous insomnia when i on 100mg of CLOMID but i now i am on 50mg i don't seem to be suffering as much thank god, the hot flushes are my worst side effect! I take mine of a night time too but i work nights so still suffer the side effects no matter what time i take it xxxx

Yep, I have problems with my sleep. I always feel dead tired but can't actually sleep properly.

I jus started my 2nd round today

You should totally take it at night like one of the other ladies said or you can go back to your FS/Gyn and ask for (letrozole) femara which works like clomid but has less side effects.

My FS thinks though if I don't want to take clomid because of side effects then it's probably time to start thinking about hGC injectables or something. lol but it's expensive unlike clomid! Baby dust
