can the mei tai cause this?

I've just started to use a mei tai and cross Noah's legs inside it. Since last night a few. Tiny little tiny bruise type things on his legs. I'm a bit worried incase it isn't that and is something worse but they are only on his legs. Has anyone had this happen before?
