Can vitex shorten AF?

I have 25 day cycles and I believe I have low progesterone so thought I'd give vitex a try.
I'm on CD 3 today and started taking vitex on CD 1. I always have 4/5 day periods but today, I'm not bleeding at all so AF has lasted 2 days. Will this be the vitex? I didn't need think it would get into my system so quick.

yeah, vitex started working for me on the first cycle too. I'm on cycle #2 of it and so far it hasn't decreased my period at all, but my luteal phase increased by like five days! I like the site "natural fertility info" for information about vitex and other herbs. maybe it will help answer some of your questions. i read that the first cycle on it can be kinda wonky because your body is balancing itself out.

do you have regular periods? i have PCOS so my periods are super irregular (3-4 months apart) I heard it is for irregular folks like me. I took it in November and stopped in December. In January had spotting and again just yesterday i had spotting. I am hoping this one is implantation. the last spotting had cervical mucus mixed with blood...maybe ovulation bleeding? ugh! sorry cant answer you since i have similar enquirer!
