I am thinking of starting LO tummy sleeping for his reflux. He can be so sound asleep on me on his tummy then start spitting up, grunting and wincing the instant he is laid on his back to sleep. He currently sleeps swaddled on his back with a 30 degree incline wedge.
Anyway, can anyone recommend a breathing effort monitor (the one that clips on the front of a nappy) and also is it still comfy for them to sleep on their fronts with that in the way?

No recommendations, I use an Angelcare monitor.

Macy sleeps on her left side overnight as it's meant to be the comfiest position for reflux (apart from tummy sleeping).

Try swaddling tightly, putting him on his left side with rolled up blankets in front and behind him so he can't move. Macy has just started to roll onto her back and wake up uncomfortable so I have to wedge her in real tight now!

She's starting to get really grumbly and uncomfortable even on her side now so I'm thinking of propping the crib right up to 45degrees and sleeping her on tummy.xxx

Have you looked into the risks involved in tummy sleeping? is that why you want a movement monitor after 2 months of age? cause without sounding harsh, the truth is a movement monitor wont reduce the risks, it will just alert you that LO has stopped breathing which is usually too late :( also cant see the tummy monitor being comfy when theyre laid on their front! x
