    Hi everyone,

Our LO is beginning to crawl and I am beginning to consider a playpen. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks :)

I'd really recommend some kind of flexible gate style thing. The sort of thing you see when you Google for Play Yard ;) Depending on where you are you can get them quite cheaply (not here though, lol). That way you can make it suit your living space, take it outside and even set it up around the baby rather than putting them in.

A travel cot can double up as a playpen :flower:

I got a lime green one from Mothercare that's fab. It's got kinda soft mesh sides so when he's climbing and bashing himself about he doesn't hurt himself. It sounds vile but it looks really funky x x

I've got one from mothercare- baby dan?? It's great though- nice size and does the job! (it's white metal bars and can be used as a room divider as well if you buy the wall plugs)

    i have a mothercare one,
and a graco one and they're great for sleep-overs. however...
the baby dan WINS hands down!
i can use it as a playpen, a gate on my patio doors, a fire guard, a room divider... it grows with your family.
i managed to get mine secondhand for £50 and it looks nice too.
everyone who comes over comments on it.
you can buy covers to go over the top to make it look like a circus tent as well... soooo cute.
i think they're £90 new, so they work out cheaper than the graco (if you're referring to the one i think you are)
another bonus to this model is... you can hang toys off of it all over as it is alot like a cot instead of being netted/fabric.

    hope this helps.
