Can you reuse glass baby food jars?

I was just watching that infomercial for the Baby Bullet and it looked really cool till I remembered I already have a blender LOL
If properly washed and steamed, can the jars be reused or does something happen with the lids?

They are fine to use
Well i do anyway, i use them if we are out for the day, they dont seem to stay water proof though & tend to leak so make sure they are kept upright.

Oh i didnt put the metal lids in the steamer. I used milton cold water tablets for those & the glass jars as wasnt sure if they would crack in the steamer.. X
