So last night, for fun I poas, just been feeling a bit rubbish all day and had some sainsbury's own brand tests in my bathroom cabinet. If I ovulated when I think I did (last tues) then I am 6dpo...obviously not gonna get a bfp!! Anyway the Sainsbury's own brand test came up positive!! It was a faint thin line just off centre, even DH could see it.
Anyway, I didnt get excited as I know it's far to early for a result, I tested again with a FRER this morning and of course is a BFN.
I have just done some research and apparently the Sainsbury's tests are notorious for false positives. I am fuming, what a waste of money!! I mean I am not upset about the BFN as I am only 6dpo and wasnt expecting any less but come on sainsbury's you need to take them off the shelves!!
Sorry ladies, if you use a sainsbury's test and you were surprised by a positive I would take a FRER just in case.
GRRRRRRR
Anyone else used these tests??
