It took us 3.5 years to conceive my son with a miscarriage and chemical on the way. Me and my husband have been NTNP since he was born which is about 3-4 months as it took a long while to get my period back. Anyway, this month we properly tried. Then this past fortnight, I've been having a bit of a nightmare with my son. He's been so unsettled so I said to my husband that perhaps I should go back on the pill for a while. He said that he didn't think I should, that we should just see what happened. Well today, I did a test and got a faint line. Didn't believe it so have done countless more and all with faint lines!
I'm in complete shock! I'm happy, but I'm also concerned about having a newborn and my son being about 15 months by then. Going to be hard but we'll be fine, it's just money. And it means that I'll have to go back to work sooner than I thought.
So I'm massively shocked but feel a lot more relaxed about this pregnancy. With my son, I was constantly worrying something would go wrong but this time, I firmly believe that what will be will be. If it doesn't work out, then I'll be fine but if it does, I'm going to be over the moon!
Just thought I'd share my news. I'm only about 10dpo and the lines are pretty similar to what I got with my son (at 10dpo!) as I compared the tests as I kept them all xx
