It took us 3.5 years to conceive my son with a miscarriage and chemical on the way. Me and my husband have been NTNP since he was born which is about 3-4 months as it took a long while to get my period back. Anyway, this month we properly tried. Then this past fortnight, I've been having a bit of a nightmare with my son. He's been so unsettled so I said to my husband that perhaps I should go back on the pill for a while. He said that he didn't think I should, that we should just see what happened. Well today, I did a test and got a faint line. Didn't believe it so have done countless more and all with faint lines!

I'm in complete shock! I'm happy, but I'm also concerned about having a newborn and my son being about 15 months by then. Going to be hard but we'll be fine, it's just money. And it means that I'll have to go back to work sooner than I thought.

So I'm massively shocked but feel a lot more relaxed about this pregnancy. With my son, I was constantly worrying something would go wrong but this time, I firmly believe that what will be will be. If it doesn't work out, then I'll be fine but if it does, I'm going to be over the moon!

Just thought I'd share my news. I'm only about 10dpo and the lines are pretty similar to what I got with my son (at 10dpo!) as I compared the tests as I kept them all  xx

congratulations!!!!!!!

It must be a shock but a huge blessing!!! :)

I want a close age gap between my LOs... im kinda jealous of you!

xxx

Ah congratulations! That's brilliant! Kinda jealous too xx

Congratulations :)

We want to have another quite close in age to our lo too. Very exciting!

Congratulations, you seem to have a great attitude and I wish you a h+h 9 months!

Xx

Congratulations!
I had 2 under 2, 14 months apart. Its easier than you'd think :)
You find a routine and a way round things.

xxxx

I'm in the same boat as you. Pregnant with number 2 and will be a 15 month age gap

It's scary but I'm excited. Just think when the youngest is a bit older they will be able to play together and entertain each other and hopefully be into similar things at similar times

The only downside at the moment was when I'm feeling tired because of the pregnancy or nauseas it can be a little hard having a LO to look after

Congratulations and it will be ok xx

Congratulations!! i want a close age gap, it'll all be worth it!

Congratulations, I'm sure your so delighted! I want a close gap too, u will have to keep us all posted how u cope with the 1st trimester tiredness and sickness with your LO

Aww lovely! Am happy for you xxx

Can't wait to get that feeling of seeing a BFP again! Well hopefully in sept..... :)

Thanks girls. I just can't quite believe it. But I don't want to get excited because it almost seems too good to be true. I mean 3.5 years for the first and then just one month properly trying for this one? It's just crazy. I have to stay open minded. I just don't want to get my hopes up.

Pregnancy wise, I'm so lucky because, my husband will obviously be at work, but my mum just lives round the corner and is always happy to sit with my son if I want to pop out baby-free for a couple of hours. Sometimes she just sends me out so that I can have a break. So I know if I'm knackered, she'll be able to help out.

It's definitely going to be tough but then my mum had twins and she said it was easier. My mum is far too laid back though!

Will definitely keep you lovely ladies updated which ever way it goes. Just got to get through the next few weeks xxx

Congrats, my two will have 12 months between them :) xx
