"Cant't you just sleep on the floor on newpaper"

Ok strange title i know.

Hubby and I were laying in bed last night when I said that we should probably get a mattress protector in case my water broke in bed. It was late and we were both tired so I thought id get a response like sure or yeah.

Instead i get "Cant you just sleep on the floor with newspaper?' I burst out laughing so hard I nearly peed myself in bed. Of course as im laughing I say "omg I'm gunna pee myself."

So he rolls over and says' Hold on ill get the newspaper!" which of course made it ten times worse.

Thankfully I made it to the bathroom in time but I could not believe his smart ass response. So funny.

I was so close to peeing the bed. So close. And you have to understand my husband is not one to usually say really quirky silly things so it totally caught me off guard.

Lol...hubby and I had a similar conversation recently. He wants to get the platic cover for the bed and suggested I sit put plastic garbage bags under me when I sir on the couch we just bought.

I suggested that I just sit on a bucket.......
