Car accident..:(

Hey Ladies
Well today was suppose to be a good day. I was spending the day with my friend.We were going shopping for the bits I have left to buy for baby,out for lunch and then a movie. Well, our fun day was spent at the hospital when we got in a truck accident.Anywhoo,of course the 1st thing I thought about was my baby girl...Oh my god what an awful feeling it is when y0u don't know if she's ok or not..Anyways we were brought by ambulance to the hospital everything was fine with me except I have this really bad headache due to it being smashed by the window and some scratches.So once I got checked out they checked the baby.They 1st checked my urine to see if there was blood in it.Everything was good on that side. They monitored me and she had a very good Heartbeat,we heard her moving and tears of joy were just running down my face. The only question I have for you ladies is that if something were to happen to baby,it would have already happen right? The doctors said everything was good and so then sent me home,but I can't stop worrying about it.I guess I just need reassurance.xx

So sorry that you had an accident - how awful!!
It's normal to be worried hun, but they wouldn't have sent you home unless they were 100% sure everything was ok. I get Braxton Hicks when I'm stressed out and worried so I would imagine you may get some of these, although ofcourse go back to the hospital if you are at all worried.

Im sure they would not have sent u home if their was a possabilty something was wrong.
As her HB was perfect after im sure everything is alll good in there.

Its totaly normal to worry hun but those babies are strong little buggers and can hang on in there through the most horrific of things... if they have checked you over and your fine then i wouldnt worry if you experience any pains or bleeding or your babys movements change dont hesitate to ring your midwife... but im sure you will be just fine xx

Sorry to hear about your accident, must have been very scary. Glad both you and baby are ok, and like others have said they wouldn't have sent you home if they didn't think everything was fine. If you have any niggles or anything then get yourself back there, better to be on the safe side. Try not to worry, sounds like your little girl is absolutely fine.

I don't think they would have sent you home unless everything was fine - but it is normal to worry, lots of hugs
