Car seat help

Hiya

We dont drive so dont need a car seat except to bring lo from hospital. I have the cosatto cabi pram and the car seat. I have looked and it seems pretty easy to fit with the seatbelt. We are going to come home in a taxi. Just wanted to know do we need a base for it? I see a lot of people mention about bases but the instructions dont say one is required. Also a lot of people i see have new baby car seat in front. Do i do this in the taxi or should i put her in back with me? Lol. Xx

You don't need a base. I think all seats just belt in but if you're anregular driver the bases are handy as you can just click in and out.

Also a baby is ALWAYS safer in the back.

hi hun i dont think a base is a requirement, bu if you was a regular driver then it would make it easier... but as your not i wouldnt bother with one

unless you were gonna use it everyday

No you won't need a base.. And deffo but baby in the back with you as the taxi may have an air bag which is a big no no for a rear facing seat. And even if you switch the airbag off the car insurance is void xxx
