Chicco Keyfit 30. Best reviewed car seat in North America. To me the car seat was the most important purchase as it was the one baby item that completely involved keeping my LO safe.

We have the Britax one as it goes with the pram/travel system. Seems enormous though compared to the Maxi Cosi one.

We collected our pram and car seat stuff yesterday so have been playing with it all since!! The seat is the maxicosi pebble with the family fix base. I'll be honest - fitting that family fix base into the landrover required a phd in electrical engineering.. but now its in its fabulous and I'm really pleased with it!! xx

We've got a maxicosi cabriofix with family fix base as it had good safety reviews etc in Which? and it fits with our icandy cherry pram/pushchair x

We have the Jane Matrix Cup as it is a car seat and car cot in one. Ideal to protect baby's back when we go to see my family who live 300 miles away and if we want him to sit up I just pull the catch behind the seat and it is a car seat.

Only downside is that it isn't the lightest but I'm not too fussed when it comes to my baby's health
