Cat biscuit...

So.... I was in the kitchen brushing the cat - the bab gate was shut and H was happily standing holding on to the gate. I finshed brushing him and nipped to the bathroom to wash my hands. Came back to find H with her arm through the bars and she had managed to hit the corner of the cat biscuit bowl and was stuffing them in her mouth. No wonder my hair is going grey!!!

I scooped what was left out of her mouth - is it likely to have done any harm?

Adam's had a few cat biscuits with no discernible ill effects, as have my nephew and niece in their time. Obviously you don't want to encourage the consumption of cat food but I doubt there's anything poisonous in there. Not sure of the effect of a wee bit of ash on a baby's system, though, but it would be such a minute amount.

Your poor little cat must be wondering why his life has turned upside down and even his food isn't sacred anymore!!

I can't imagine it'll do H any harm. I wonder if they taste nice (I'm not about to find out though!)

I'm yet to meet a kid that hasn't enjoyed a meal of cat/dog biscuits at some point!! As above, I wouldn't worry!

My brother ate cat biscuits when he was little, he still gets teased about it now!

I'm sure she'll be fine

I used to eat cat buscuits as a kid (god knows why) as long as its not masses it wont do any harm and probably wont be the oddest thing she ever tries to eat
wait till her and her mates start daring each other to eat worms, crayons and mud

I used to go round a friend's house when i was younger and they had a dog... i used to get so excited about going to visit and having boneo biscuits for lunch hasn't done me any harm! x

When my sister was crawling she went into the kitchen. Re appeared a few minutes later and she had gravy and cat meat all down her face. Mum had forgotten to pick it up and she'd eaten the lot.

She must of liked it because she did it again haha

She is now a healthy 17 years old lol
