CBFM Reads High but I Already Ovulated?

So, my CBFM has been reading high the past 7-8 days.
But according to my doctor and the ultrasound I had today, I've already ovulated.

What the heck?? Is the CBFM broken maybe?

I will follow this thread with interest, I used the monitor for the first time last month and got what i thought was ovulation pains about 5 days before my first peak (i was getting highs on the monitor though). i kind of dismissed them assuming that the monitor would have picked it up had i have been ovulating (after all that is what the monitor is for), we did BD when i had the pains just to be sure..... no BFP for me last month though. I know some people don't get peaks in their first month so the fact that i got a peak cemmented in my mind that the monitor was working, but now i don't know.

Well, don't necessarily discredit the monitor just yet...
Some people are saying that because I bought it used, even though I reset it a few times before my first cycle that it may be still learning my cycle?

Weird.
