I had my chemical mc on the 6th, after 6 days of spotting that began December 31 (happy new year ). My lines were getting darker by the day through January 1, and were already significantly lighter by the 3rd. The test I did on the morning of the 6th was a squinter, very nearly negative.
My question is, is CD1 the day of the MC? It's my understanding that it typically is, but I lost this so early, and I know that it takes a little longer for those last dribs and drabs of hcg to get flushed from the kidneys/waste system than from the blood, so a positive result can be had from a home test after a negative blood result. I'd ordinarily be ovulating right around now, and I think I'm having symptoms, but wasn't opk testing this week because I wasn't expecting it for another week due to the MC. Is it possible for my actual CD1 to be prior to the big MC event, possibly closer to when the spotting began???
