This is our 3rd cycle on Clomid. My DH is leaving for deployment about 4 days before I Ovulate this cycle...so I know what a long shot this cycle is...I wanted to call the whole thing off but my fertility doctor said that we may still have a chance, no matter how slim :D

Anybody else on clomid, or around CD12?

Hi there! I am actually on the same day you are - CD 13 today. I am on my first round of clomid, took it days 3-7, 50 mg. I got a + OPK at 11:30 pm yesterday (I work nights, so I figured I may as well take one since I am up:)) Anyway, expecting my peak on my monitor today, but not sure what day I will ovulate since I got the + OPK so late last night. Didn't BD yesterday thinking it would still be a few more days, so a little down about that. Planning on doing it twice today though:)) I wish you all the best! Feel free to e-mail me whenever - I am rather bored myself this month. Just ready to get things going! What days did you take clomid this month?

    I took 150mg from CD2-CD6.

My follicular US showed 5 follicles but 4 of them were under 6mm only 1 was at 15mm, that was CD11. I'm really hoping to O soon, it seems like the clomid really slows down my ovulation...The 3 cycles I've been on it, I've O'd CD18/19/20/.

Next cycle I think I'm going to take Soy to hopefully help me O sooner! I hate having a 35-37 day cycle! lol

How's your first month on Clomid going? I've found that I get really greasy skin and horrible cystic acne the cycles I use it. Any side effects for you?

Acne has actually been my worst side effect!! I've had some cramping, but acne is definitely the worst!! Clomid is actually making me O sooner than normal, which is a huge plus for me!! Oh, and the oily skin I have too.

I wish I could O sooner!! Consider yourself LUCKY!

My DH is leaving on deployment probably like 3 days before I ovulate so I'm pretty sure I'm out; but I'm gonna keep chugging along because I already took the clomid so I might as well. lol

I'm thinking about using my HCG drops [from the diet I tried] in lieu of the HCG trigger my doctor doesn't have for me unless I go to another fertility specialist.

I wonder if the drops will work the same way the trigger shot does?

I have, but I can't get a straight answer from any of the websites...I think that the HCg trigger is like 5ooomIU of HCG.

Yeah. It's enough to give me a faint positive on the HPT, I'm just not sure that it's going to speed up ovulation for me. I think I'll wait until next month when DH is going to be here the whole month.

I'm doing pretty well! I ovulated yesterday (Friday) as far as I know, so I am starting to get excited, but trying not to get my hopes up. I didn't realize I would O so soon, so we only got to BD the morning before and then the morning of. I would've liked to get one more day in, like 48 hours before, but that'll have to do! I'm thinking about trying to do it again this morning when I get off, but I figure either what sperm was up there met the egg, or its dissolved by now...the 2ww begins! How are you today? I'm still keeping my hopes up for you. I really hope you O soon before he leaves! I see you got a +OPK today!!! So it looks like it may happen at just the right time!

    I KNOW!!!
I'm freaking out right now :D I didn't think that we were going to have a shot at even trying this cycle before DH left but I got like 5 +OPKs this afternoon and have already gotten my money's worth out of the preseed too!

    I'm so excited!!! lol

The HCG drops work then! I haven't ovulated this early in a really really long time! I'm so happy to know that I won't have a 37 day cycle this month!!!

Wooo Hooo for Oing earlier than normal!

Well I am really happy for you!! :hugs: I used preseed the day before I O'd and I should have used it the day of, but I just didn't think about it!! Hopefully it won't matter though. So we will only be a day or 2 apart during our 2ww!:dust:

Mine is just soooo stinking busy at work; and working 15+ hour days that it's really hard to get him in the mood after a 15 hour day and a 1.5 hour commute on top of it :( He comes home, we eat a light dinner [because it's usually 930pm already] take a unisom and head to bed...sometimes we even watch 15 minutes of tv in bed.

I also never O on the weekend! It's usually a Wednesday night in the middle of an argument so we just never match up sexually. Either he wants it and I don't, or I want it and he's too tired.

Hopefully we'll catch an egg this cycle. I just really really want to be able to wear the maternity wardrobe I've been slowly putting together since last May :D

Gosh, I can't wait to be pregnant. Heck, I can't wait to start testing semi-obsessively

Ugh...I know how that goes!!! My hubby is really bad about falling asleep with our two boys and then I have to go wake him up. Since I work nights, I have no problem staying up late! This month, mornings have just seemed to work better.

I am going to try really hard to wait until a sane DPO to test this time. I have been notorious for testing as early as 5 or 6 DPO, even though I know it won't be +. If i would've just waited like I was supposed to, I probably would've saved hundreds of $ over the past year...its ridiculous! So I am going to try and wait until at least day 10, even though I know that is still extremely early! I'm already obsessed with it. All I've done tonight in my free time is look up stuff about clomid, pregnancy, testing, etc, etc...LOL. I've got to start taking prometrium on Wednesday. I've been taking it during my LP since December, and I decided not to take it last month because my progesterone levels were great, but then I spotted starting 2 DPO until AF came. So he said for me to start it 6 days after I got the peak on my monitor. So I've been reading about that tonight too!
