Ok a little background. Last month I had a chemical pregnancy, I tested positive on 4 different brands (including FRER), but the lines never got darker, and eventually AF showed up.
There were a lot of speculation from the TTC community as to why I was testing + on an HPT. Some of the ideas ranged from me having a cyst, to faulty tests. So i did a little research and some women said they test positive on an hpt when they have a large cyst due to the increase of LH in their system, while other ladies said it was impossible to test + on an hpt unless you were pregnant.
So I decided to do an exeriment and share with the class. I am on CD18 today and tested + on an OPK with FMU, I then dipped an HPT with the same FMU just to see if it would register the results. As i suspected it was a huge BFN.
Here are the pics. The top one is the OPK (obviously +, and yes I will be ovulating later on today or tomorrow). Bottom one is an HPT.
