CD2-Cycle buddies for another round?

Sorry to hear of your loss dinky. You mean a travel system where you take the seat out of the car and click it on the pushchair?

Thanks! No its a car seat and you lift it out of the car and press a button and wheels drop down! It looks amazing I'll try and find a link

Here it is

Wow dinky those look cool. I also do the whole visualisation thing ltweety. I was watching a documentary on YouTube about conception and it really is a miracle all the things happening inside our bodies before we even know anything is happening ourselves.

Got my crosshairs on FF today. As I suspected I ovulated two days early. Only got to bd twice this month. Such a disappointment. Think I'm getting to old for this lol

It only takes once Spencer. :) wishing you luck and baby dust this cycle.

I think I ovulate yesterday, opks are back to neg this morning and the pain I was in yesterday was unbelievable! Ovaries are still a bit tender today but they normally are the day after o. Cd12 is very early for me!!

We are both early this month. Let's hope it's a great sign!

Wow! Lots of early birds this month...maybe our cycles are syncing, lol. I think I might O today or tomorrow. DH has a sore throat and I'm hoping isn't too sick to do what needs to be done the next two days:) I told him to buck up, he has a job to do haha. No pressure or anything....

I love baby wearing! I have a woven wrap, which I LOVE and a lillebaby, which I used for older kiddos...I haven't heard of the Manduca...I would definitely recommend trying it out if possible. I thought I wanted a Tula, but when I got to try them on, I liked the lillebaby a lot more.

That stroller / car seat looks convenient but I was just reading an article that talked about flat head in babies & SIDS are linked to the car seat & how car seats should only be used in the car, not for napping or as a stroller. Just food for thought!

Ok, so - question - if I wake to pee at 3 AM, is that considered FMU??? I used my OPK at 8 AM after waking in the night...I am kinda considering that as testing with second MU. What do think? The line is definitely getting darker, I am testing 2-3 times a day now! Expecting positive OPK tomorrow or the next day and O by Friday!!! Exciting :)

Hi wish think I will have a look when the time comes at mothercare to see if I can try it. I think I would consider the 3am one fmu if you have slept at least 5 hours I would say. Your opk would be more likely to be darker later in the day. You should definetly catch it with you testing 3 times a day. 😊

Wish I would probably of considered the 8am urine as fmu but I suppose it's up to you! That car seat/stroller is great for busy mum's. If I brought it I'd only use it on school runs, the baby would be in it for half hour max during the school run. It's hectic enough taking a 5 year and 2 year old to school so not having to mess about with assembling a pushchair would be a blessing lol!!

My daytime OPKs are really white because I cannot seem to hold longer than 2.5 hrs (and that is me feeling like I'll explode!) and I drink a lot...I feel like I'll die of thirst if I try to stop! So I decided to try the 8 am (after a night wake) and there was more of a line - still negative but at least something was there lol
Oh well, I will also do 3 pm and 6/7ish, and the same thing tomorrow so hopefully I can see a positive, or at least a progression.

Yeah, I'm sure that car seat/stroller is super convienient, just wanted to share another perspective! The article mentioned parents driving around, then just lifting car seat out, then back home, baby into swing/bouncer, back into car seat, on their back sleeping in the crib at night, etc...I think it was just more of a warning about hrs & hrs on their back, not napping in the car seat and parents not holding their babies!

With all 5 of my kids I bought infant car seat/carriers, and I swear I took that giant thing out of the car (with baby in it) once lol :) But, I'm sure I would buy another, just in case!
I love having baby all snuggled up against me in the woven wrap - my littlest spent 10 hrs a day in it :D we called it the magic wrap because no matter the time, or when she last slept, she would instantly fall back alseep in it...

I never used a wrap but I do like the idea and may do next time! I constantly held dd2 when she was a newborn coz she just loved cuddles and face kisses and she still does :) dd1 hated it, she's always liked to do her own thing! I love those prams where they lay flat in them they look so comfy and snuggly, I'd have one of those and one of them car seat pushchairs for the school run. What opks do you use? Do you use the cheapie sticks? If so your not supposed to use them till later in the day. I normally use them from 2pm but when they are positive they will be positive in the morning too, earliest I've tested is 10am and got a pos

Oh and I'm also a massive water drinker to and also worry about dying of dehydration if I get thirsty! So my urine tends to be diluted, but when I got the pos opk at 10am it was smu and was quite concerntrated

I am using the answer brand, dip sticks. I worry because last month I used FMU (as per instructions, and not getting up in the night) - I got about 5 mornings of positive readings! Going with my temp rise, I can tell which day I ovulated.
I googled and apparently 5 days + opks is very abnormal, and I worry that the FMU is to blame. So, this month I wanted to try and get the positive reading at a different time (I should note that I was getting negatives later in the day after + with FMU)

I am really looking forward to a postive OPK with any other than FMU!

That is a lot of positives Wish4. I think that sounds more like an abnormal batch of OPKs than a very long LH surge. But then, you are talking to someone with a 12 hour lh surge. Also, personally I would consider the 2nd waking as smu not fmu, but that's just me. I wake up often around 2 and have always considered it as fmu. But then I go to bed around 9 on weekdays so I've already been sleeping for 5 hours by then and waking up 2 1/2 hours later for work.

So ladies, I had my first acupuncture appointment today...it was quite interesting. Did not hurt AT ALL. I really couldn't even tell when the needles touched me, and felt nothing while they were in. They are VERY VERY small. Today they went into my ankles, the top of my head, my forearms and my forehead :) He says it depends on where in my cycle i am where the needles go.

Based on my cycle and personal history, he thinks I need to stimulate estrogen and try to increase the health of my follicles. So I guess that's what we are working on:) Not as if I could tell the difference if he started working on something else. But it was very relaxing and I think I will stick with it for a while. Also, I had O pain while I was lying there and I wonder if that was coincidence? It was quite strong and for 30 minutes straight!

That sounds awesome!!! I really want to try it :) how did you find a reputable place? I don't think it's coincidence you felt some O pains, it could of been your body reacting! Good luck!!!

Last cycle -
My first positive OPK was the morning of cd 14 (Fmu, negatives at the same time for 3 days prior). Then temp rise cd 16, FF pinpointed O day as cd 15. But, I continued getting positive OPKs cd 15, 16, 17 & 18...cd 19 was finally negative again.
Probably no big deal but I kept getting negatives in the afternoon - even cd 14 :(

I usually go to sleep around 10-11, then up at 3, then up at 7:30am, so both were aprox 5 hr holds, no liquids...

Wish I once had a cycle when ttc dd2 where I had 5 days of positive opks. I was charting bbt and I ovulated on the 3rd day of pos opks. Not sure why I had another 2 days of bfps after I ovulated but I remember feeling really fed up and frustrated I even made a thread on here about it lol! My opks tell me to test later in the day between 10am and 8pm but when they go positive they are positive no matter what time I test. My surge tends to only last 1 day ever since I've been ttc this time except for this cycle but I think that's because I changed brands to a more sensitive brand that gave me a bfp before the other ones would!

Glad you enjoyed your session ltweety I hope it makes a real difference for you! Atleast you can look forward to those sessions of relaxation and instead of focusing on a test date you can look forward to that instead and your tww might fly by!

Hey I'm new here. TTC #2. I mix maca into my smoothies and have noticed less cramping and a lighter flow.
