Hi ryder's mum. I know what you ladies mean about it being a pain having to hold for a few hours and not drinking. I am a avid tea drinker decaf at the moment and abstaining is hard. Waiting till Friday then I can start my digital ovulation tests as have 9 left. Want to get some flashing faces aswell as static. Pleased you enjoyed your acupuncture appointment it sounds like it is already taking effect. ☺

Haha Spencer I did get crosshairs for cd11. I'm convinced I ovulated on cd12 so I've switched the settings to fam and it will give me crosshairs tomorrow on cd12

Changed my mind again. Left it on advance settings and it puts my crosshairs on cd11 but if I put false temp for next 2 days it changes o date to cd13!

Soooooo.....I got a postive OPK this morning - but I am afraid it's a false postive. I didn't wake up in the night, slept from about 11 until 7:45am, tested, and it was a blazing, no questions asked, Positive. Now I am holding & hoping to make it until 10:45 to test again. Temp is still low, so there's no way I missed it. I do know that I should O between tomorrow and Saturday.
Better BD tonight and tomorrow to be safe I guess!
I want the clear blue fertility monitor b/c I am not loving these OPK sticks lol! If AF shows, I may go buy one!

Yesterday OPK's were negative. My DH isn't feeling great so we are working around an unexpected hitch! I felt like I was going to burst into tears last night because he wasn't up to BD. Actually, after acupuncture I got increasingly weepy throughout the night...i wonder if it was a side effect or just that I'm hormonal because I'm going to ovulate any day now. He ended up initiating BD this morning before work. Honestly, I do love that man! So, I brought an OPK to work today to see if today is the day! LOL, this feels like a top secret mission.

Dinky, I think that you are right on CD13 based on your pretend temps. I guess time will tell

Okay, I just got a blaring positive OPK. I put in the positive in to FF and it automatically put my O day tomorrow. Have you ever had FF do this to your chart before a temp rise? I didn't even enter any other signs. I'm pretty sure it will happen tonight, ironically. I guess we will see after the temp spike if it happens tomorrow. It's especially odd since often I ovulate the same day as a positive OPK...

Depends what Ff settings you got it on I guess.. I have never seen it before

No ltweety that's never happened to me before are you sure you have your settings on advanced and not on the opk/monitor setting? That's really weird that it did that never heard of that happening before! I think tomorrow I'll set my chart to fam and then it will give me crosshairs for cd12 as I'm sure I ovulated that day based on the pains I had! Plus cd13s temp seems a bit too high to be a pre ov temp

Checking my settings....It's on "Advanced" What is the difference between that and fAM? Does FAM only use temps?

I haven't got a clue to be honest ltweety lol my temps seem to have been higher than normal this cycle they don't normally go over 36.4! They are normally around 36.2. Yeah fam uses the 3 higher temps over the last 6 and no other signs like the opks or cm, just purely your temps. Been reading up on it on the net and most people recommend fam over advanced

Sounds promising wish I would take the test as genuine. We just decided to go on holiday the last week in September. If I get pregnant this month that will put me at 8 months when I go. Will just go with the flow and if it happens it happens.

Interesting, I've never seen FF do that either!

I know, Ridley, my sister just started planning a vacation for our whole family this August or over Thanksgiving LoL! She doesn't know we're TTC, so the timing could be horrible, but oh well! We missed a family vacation (paid for!!!) to Europe a few years ago because my littlest one was just born!

So YEAH! I got another positive OPK at noon! DH came home early and I ambushed him during baby girls nap time lol

You could always consider it a baby moon wish if it goes ahead for August. Your smu seems a tad darker. I always get stupidly excited when I see those two dark lines, must get out more lol

Omg, me too! I almost started dancing when the second one turned positive that's my first ever positive (not counting FMU, last month was first time using OPKs)...it was hard to come by too, with that long hold lol
I can't wait to test again this evening!

I was totally excited to see mine this morning too You're not alone Ridley, I think we all love to see proof that everything is working and we made it to the TWW!

We are also planning a holiday for end of May-June to Croatia! I've been dying to go and we needed to plan something just for us as a couple. Both our birthdays are in May so we decided to make it a birthday present to each other. I can hardly wait--we already requested the time off work. We are waiting to buy tickets with tax refund (I don't know if they have the equivalent in the UK) but that should be here by end of the month for sure!
If this cycle goes well I would be in my 18th week by the time we go. Perfect timing because we'd have a nice baby bump and sickness should be overwith. Ridley, where are you planning to go?

Dinky, 2/3 time my temps were higher were the cycles I got PG so maybe this your lucky cycle?

Spencer-there is no chart stalking among friends Only chart sharing. personally you can stare at my chart all day long and it won't bother me a bit, lol.

In the UK we have tax rebate if we have paid too much previously. It is nice to have a holiday to look forward to. We are going to Costa dorada in Spain for a week. Going with my dh my two ds's, my mum and step dad and a few couples we know from south Africa. That is Really good time to go on holiday you will just be getting your energy back. X

oooh, spain sounds nice Did you live in South Africa?
I'm trying not to bank on being pregnant but it would be great I find that when I give myself deadlines for pregnancy, they are disheartening if not met when expected. If I end up not being pregnant, I can always throw in a wine tasting or two. It sounds like Croatia has a pretty good selection.
