Cervix Pain?

At least I think that's what it is!
I was walking my littlies to school today and kept getting sharp pains, almost like someone tugging away at my cervix, or at least a pulling, sharp pain at something internally down there? Could it be my cervix?
I had about 4 or 5 really sharp pains, it felt like my waters were about to pop all over the school playground! Has anyone else had this?
Is this a sign that things might be starting to change? Cervix getting ready, that sort of thing?

I've been getting them and even ended up in hospital with the pain, apparently it's baby moving down and starting to engage
