Hiya BeesBella. Me again! I dunno about positioning but opk's are the best thing to use i would say. I have NO idea about where my cervix should be for fertility. Google it, there is a website with pictures of the cervix on it... Have you used opk's? XOX

Have you got a link to your FF chart hun? May be FF is reading some other signs. High and closed cervix is not fertile - you are right. It can change very quickly though.

There is a test for cm/sperm. Cup your left hand and put it under the tap to make a little pool of water. Scoop out some of the cm/sperm with one finger of your right hand and drop it into the water. If it floats it's sperm, if it sinks its ewcm. I find can linger about for several hours.

Do you check your cervix at the same time each day?

firstbaby25 (we seem to be talking so often can I use your real name ? Lol) - Yea I did an OPK yesterday and day before, both very very very faint lines after like 25 mins (it says to give them 30 mins) so I am classing them as negative. I am going to test again tomorrow and then every other day (cos even the IC OPK's can be quite expensive if you're a POAS addict like me lol) and then I will know if I missed my surge. Yeah I have seen the pics of the cervix's, but it's hard to know (and by the looks of them sometimes I wouldn't want to know) what they feel like.

But on my calender it says judging by cervix, I am most fertile ! I will deffo try the water thing you said, thanks =D No I don't check my cervix at the same time everyday, should I ? I just tend to check it when I'm in the shower really !

I think it's because you put your cervix as high. High and open is fertile, so it must be going on the position and not the opening. If it's closed, nothing is going to get in though, even it's high lol!

Ok thanks =D I have another question, probably stupid but here goes. I have a cold at the moment and I'm feeling run down, will that harm my chances, or change my cycle in anyway ?

If you were seriously ill then perhaps yes, but I don't think a cold would make much difference. I would try to make sure you are sleeping plenty and well hydrated. CM can be affected by dehydration, and colds can make you feel thirsty (losing all that fluid in snot probably lol!) so drink tonnes of water. Getting enough sleep is crucial for all bodily functions really. x
