Cervix Question?

I am not new to checking my cervix. I know how mine is and is pretty much the same every month on the same cycle days. It's almost weird how identically it is, i track it and make record. Anyways Today I am cycle day 14 and typically O today or tomorrow. Well I checked my cervix and it is High, open, and ROCK hard???! I'm a confused. It never gets rock hard. I can't find anything on the internet about this to give me and idea. So here I am ladies, wondering wtf is going on. And if you ladies have had this happen. I didn't want to use OPks this month but I am debating it because honestly this is a head scratcher.

I have been a cervix checker for 7 years. I have had rock hard cervix before. When I had it in Remer the cervix felt smaller like less blood flow was going through it....Have you checked since or are you just gonna wait it out?
