I'm stumped for which changing bag to go for, the ones I like turn out to be silly expensive and I feel guilty splashing out on something like that when I've got a baby on the way and wage cut very soon. However it will be in place of my handbag most of the time once baby is here, and I do like to have a nice handbag! I don't go mad with bags, just find one I really like and make good use of it until it falls apart, so part of me thinks it's ok to treat myself for something like this that will be well used.

I liked the look of the Pink Lining yummy mummy bags, but thought £79 was a bit steep, and I'd also feel a bit big headed giving the idea I consider myself a yummy mummy according to my bag, when I will feel and probably look far from it! Now I've got my eye on the Il Tutto Nico patent ones, can't stop looking at them every time I go in Mamas & Papas, but they're even more ridiculously priced at £149. I have the one I got free with Boots parenting club, and I'm sure it will do the job fine, but I can't see me being happy to use it all the time as my bag, I kind of got it as a spare suitable for if DH was ever out with baby without me.

I wish I could find one I liked as much for a bit less! I've searched all over the Internet now. Any recommendations?!

I have the same problem I want a Pink Lining bag no not much advice here I am afraid.

Have u looked in Mothercare they seem to have some nicer ones.

With my son I had two, a cheap one from boots and a radley bag. My boots bag
Lasted about 3months before inside started to crack and the strap frayed. My radley bag still looks brand new and I will be using it again this time. It is a backpack style and I used it to go away for a night too  sometimes paying a little bit more actually is more cost effective over all. I got the radley bag on sale for £89 and its nearly three years old and will last hopefully another 2 years with daily use xx

I bought the Storksak Claire nappy bag when I was pregnant with my daughter and love it. It converts from a normal bag to a backpack which is handy if you plan on babywearing sometimes. I paid $100 for it but I think its worth it. I use it everyday, it has loads of compartments, is big enough, and has insulated pockets for bottles/food. My sister bought a cheaper bag and is now on her 3rd because they keep falling apart.

Im kind of in the same position re not sure if I want to spend the money or not but someone on here was looking at the babymoov ones and I love this one (plus it is really a reasonable price) So Im getting one of these hopefully!

They come in different colours btw!

I've been looking around too and am shocked at how expensive some of them are! Have found a couple of nice ones for around the £50/60 mark, I just can't justify spending any more than that as there are plenty of other things that we need. I guess it depends on your financial situation versus what you feel you want. If you want to spend a lot then perhaps if anyone wants to buy you a gift then maybe ask for some vouchers for where ever it comes from? Mothercare etc. that way you still have it but without the guilt!

I like the babymoov ones but the colours don't go with my pram :dohh:

Ive got the pink lining ones, a red bow one and a green butterfly one. Both picked up for £30/£15 second hand of sale sites. I know that they're not brand new but they were in fantastic condition and i love them. Also check eBay? They pop up on there often and you might find a great bargain x x x

I have Armani changing bag and I love it, it was a gift but I had my eye on the pink lining and Il Tutto Nico bags and prob early would have gone with the Tutto Nico if I hadn't been given this one but I don't fault it at all plenty of space and looks lovely.

I bought a pink linining one when I was pregnant with my dd and I plan on using it again this time too. Its still in great condition and was well worth what I paid. Xx

I love these ones:

I must be a bit more hard wearing on bags than some of you. I've had 2 yummy mummy bags with my first child and both now look really tatty so Im getting a new one this time round. I definitely think its worth investing in one you really love as you will never leave the house without it.

I bought an Orla Kiely one in the sale for £85 (half price). I bought it because I love OK generally and it was a good excuse! It was expensive but sooo pretty and looks a lot like a normal handbag.

I got the baby k mothercare one when pregnant with dd and thought that was expensive at £60, when I had ds I bought a different one off amazon for £50 n the handle snapped within weeks n wouldn't accept returns! I started using the baby k one again n still do n it's still in amazing condition!

My sister is still using her pink lining one and looks brand new 2 years later!

So I'd say its worth it getting a good one as they do take some battering! I stuff mine and constantly washing it as it gets full of juice milk and crumbs!
But make sure u have a good look at them to make sure they will last x
