OK, so I have this changing table (see pic below) and I have a couple questions about safety...the table is extra long so there's plenty of space to put wipes, etc. alongside the changing pad.
1. The changing pad we just bought just sits on top of the dresser, it doesn't attach to it or anything, is that how they usually are or is there some kind of strap we need to attach it to the table? although the way the table is built I would have no idea how to do that...
2. I've read that some changing tables come with baby safety straps, which ours doesn't...are they not really necessary or should we buy straps separately? again I would have no idea how to attach them...
3. Is it safe to put a table lamp at the far end of the table or should we find another place for it?
Sorry if these are dense questions, of course I am a first time mom!
