:hi: Hi ladies

Ok so I am starting to chart my temps, and I am not really sure where to put day 1. Would I place it the day I had my metho shot or the day I received a negative result with my hCG?

Also curious what a average base line sits at?

Any tips for me for charting?

I still have three cycles before we TTC, but I want to be ready to go!!:happydance:

Hey! I dont think it really matters at this point which day you put as cycle day 1. its what you feel like doing.
Either way yournext cycle will be fine because cd1 will be when u get af. And if u do ovulate it ll detect it no matter which day is cd 1.

Just a matter of preference. Hope this helps

I agree with Sally. Maybe put the date of the shot as CD1 and see how it goes. There's a nice feature if you're using Fertility Friend where you can exclude certain cycles from your stats, so you can see what happens this time but not have it affect your average pattern if it's a bit off from the usual.

For example, my cycles used to be 28 days with O on day 13 like clockwork. Counting the first day of light bleeding of my m/c as CD1, that cycle was 32 days with O on day 19. If my cycles go back to the old pattern, I'll exclude the m/c cycle from my stats. On the other hand, if this is the new "normal" cycle pattern, I'll exclude the earlier ones and work off of the post-m/c cycles.

Hope that helps! And for the baseline, I don't think there's any particular average level. My pre-O temps are in the 96.5-97.0 range and post-O 97.2-97.7 or so, which I think is on the lower end of things, but if you browse other charts in FF you'll see all kinds of different things.
