checking cervix for pregnancy?

Has anyone done this and it worked?
How exactly do you do it.. and what do you look for?

If its any help ive been checking my cervix and knowing im NOT pg, you can feel a big difference (or i can anyway) when you find your cervix and your AF has just gone for the month it will be high + soft + closed and the nearer to your AF it gets the lower + harder + more open it feels. i.e. im due for AF around the 1st Feb + i have already felt that im not going to get a BFP this month as my Cervix has already moved lower. Loads of ppl say this isnt a good indicator of being PG because every woman is different but this is what i found! GL to you
