I read that 60% of mcs were chemical... when does it stop being a chemical and start being a mc? Im just looking for points I can say im past. Does that make sense? I had an MMC last time at 9+2 measuring 6+1 xxx
Hi, I'm sorry for your loss... a miscarriage is usually classed as a chemical pregnancy if it was never detected in a scan, eg if you test quite closs to your AF due date and its positive, then get AF a few days late. It becomes a miscarriage after about 5-ish weeks, tho some doctors call it a miscarriage regardless of how far along it was, as do many other people. A chemical is no less of a miscarriage, it just means it 'chemically' showed up in your blood, meaning it could be detected by tests. Hope that helps
yea it does I thought that and by no means think of it as anyless a loss I was just thinking if most are chemicals and chemicals are before 5 weeks then Ive reached a milestone this time getting past in, just looking for hope in anyway! x
