I can't believe it, I dont know if i should feel happy that at least i got a bfp or feel sad because it's now a bfn and af is here..

15 months of TTC and the first time I have ever seen 2 lines it's a chemical.

I got 3 bfp on Friday throughout the day even though they where faint as i was only 9dpo, then Saturday a mix of bfp and bfn.

OH just thinks the positive test where faulty..men!!

I had my second progesterone test on Thursday and have to go for the results this Friday, the doctor said he would refer us to a FS. Should I mention the bpf this month or do you think he might not refer us if i do?

Sorry to hear you've had a chemical.

I'd be tempted not to say anything.
A family member had been on the waiting list for ages for an appointment. She found out she was pregnant only to miscarry a day later. Due to telling the doctor, they cancelled her appointment and now she's having to wait all over again before they'll do anything as now they're saying she can get pregnant (It took her nearly 3 yrs to get pregnant).

Thats what I'm scared of telling the Doctor on Friday and him thinking that everything is Ok.

I'm sure if my LP was at least 2 days longer than i will get a sticky bean and need the doctor to prescribe progesterone but he doesn't seem to have the knowledge about fertility

chemicals are rotten! i had one! dont know how to feel. just crap want to try to be positive but then i start to feel sad....TTC break over xmas.

Hi Nikki - reading your post I know exactly how you feel - I too had a BFP on Fri and Sat then today negative and bleeding. This will be my second miscarriage.
I had a docs apt booked in for tomorrow arvo - initially booked to let him know I was preg been having tests inc scan as we have been ttc since aug 09. Scan was ok tests in 'normal range' periods still all over the place and either cant conceive or cant keep them when I have.
just so heartbreaking - the whole process
what did you decide to do about telling the doc - I am in two minds whether to cancel until I feel more able to talk about ttc or go and see him and talk through the chem preg - but again really worried that it will put us back to square one with the whole wait a year and then come back....

I've not decided yet. If i tell him will he stop all the referrals so the chemical proves I can get pregnant or should i tell him as it's an early loss and with ok but low progesterone levels maybe he will help me with that.

The nhs is so fickle with referrals like you i don't want to end up back at square one being told to wait another 12months....

so sorry hun, same thing happened to me last week. BFP for a whole 5 days then AF showed up. it's such a downer and we had to tell the in laws as we were on holiday with them and they kept questioning why I wasn't drinking every day. chin up, it will happen. x

I went to the doctors this morning will the intention of not mentioning the chemical, but, he got me soo mad i just blurted it out.

My 8dpo result this month was 19, the doctor advised it shows i'm not ovulating. I told him that i knew i was mentioned temp rise, CF and signs after OV. He was really rude and said that none of that matters.

I just looked at my OH and turned to the doctor and said well i know i ovulated last month as i got a BFP but unfortunately it was an early loss and af arrived. So i am ovulating even if that test doesn't show it. I just have low progesterone.

I know have to have a 3rd lot of blood test before they will refer us, he didn't even respond to my early loss and i have to have the blood taken between cd21-23. He even drew me a chart of how hormones work and why it has to be those days, as if after 15 months i don't know that.

I'm soo mad right now, another month to wait before the referral goes in.

doesnt it ever suck! think the worst thing was that with this one honestly felt different and far more positive having spent 14/15 months trying since the last m/c... but wasnt meant to be

I decided not to go to the docs - like you cant wait another 12 months again before getting to where we are today..
we are going to keep trying but with two m/cs under my belt I have decided to give low dose aspirin a go - it appears that this may help
have you looked at natural progesterone cream think it is made from yams..
seemed to be some anecdotal evidence that this helps

what an idiot! have you tried reflexology??? in all seriousness when I started going to my lady to have my feet fiddled with as I call it - my periods were anywhere between 28 and 70 days apart - within 3 months I am on a reg 35 day cycle
I feel a whole lot better about the whole baby making issue as well - it is worth every penny I pay for it and would recommend it to anyone x
