Chicco next to me crib..

We've bought the Chicco next to me crib for next baby as first baby didn't settle well in his Moses basket. I love the look of it and I love that I can see baby next to me, my only issue is the mattress feels really hard - has anyone else found this? Do I buy a new mattress for it or will baby be fine with the one provided..

I have bought one but not taken it out the box yet! Will have to have a feel.. I have also bought the sleepyhead pillow thing to go in it which is supposed to be really good for newborns and will provide cushioning x

We bought an additional mattress for ours, it's lovely and soft

we were going to get one but then decided we would get more use from a cotbed and just have the cotbed right next the bed instead.

You can buy a little mattress fr it. We have LO in travelbed in beginning & with the xtra padding under baby, that works out great!
