Chicken pox

I went to vist my Grandma today, and my cousin turned up with her daughter. We'd been there an hour when my cousin finally desides to mention her daughter has chickenpox, and is currently contagious. While remarking - "You've already had it, right?"

No. No I have not. I also happen to have a holiday in spain coming up in a weeks time. To say I am annoyed is an understatement.

Does anyone have any knowledge on chicken pox. What are my chances of catching it? Will I get my holiday before I start to feel ill if I do?

I would say it depends on your immune system. Noone can say for sure if you going to catch it or not, It's 50/50. I think it takes few days to a week to appear....
But i have to say that it was a crap thing to do from your cousin...
