Chicken Pox

A girl in my form has just been diagnosed with this. She had it all yesterday and I was in close, although not physical, contact with her.

Thing is, I can't remember if I've had it. And my parents can't remember either.

So, I know there can be complications - but what are they at this stage?

And how the hell do I find out if I've had it?

Advice greatly appreciated!

Ring up and ask your midwife, they should know.. Mine did, I haven't had it before and my sister's (who's 4) caught them so I rang her up and apparently its been detected on me so I'm immune :S x

Go see midwife or Dr, I had very similar when my daughter caught chicken pox... they gave me blood test and I got results back same day and luckily It turned out I had been exposed to it!

Best to find out as it can be dangerous for your baby if you catch it!
