Chickenpox!!

So in the county that I live everywhere I look a kid has chickenpox!!
Now luckily I've had it when I was little but looking at my son this morning looks like he may have caught the virus as little blisters have started to appear everywhere...

If I had these when young I saw on NHS that I should be immune therefore the baby will not be harmed...
Has anyone gone through this?

Im trying to call my doctors but as usual noone is picking up!!!

If you had chickenpox as a child then you're almost certainly immune. I'd still call midwife/dr for peace of mind but I'm sure you're fine

My DD had chickenpox last week. I was worried too but midwife said as long as id had them I was fine and it was! Hope your LO is ok chickenpox are nasty xx

I'm hiding from all potential chicken pox carriers at the moment, I've had them but I've had the 3 times!! Apparently I've not created the immunity so I'm staying clear hehe

A nurse who diagnosed my LO told us one in ten people can have reocurring cases! Obviously that worried me sick haha but I was fine. Chickenpox seem to be everywere at the minute that must be so stressful for you!
