Not sure if this is the best place to post but was thinking this would get the most replies.

As the title says really any party ideas your LOs have had or been to :)

Ones we've had: day trip to Woburn, garden party with games and bouncy castle, exclusive use of indoor play.

Ones we've been to: Frozen themed with Elsa x 3, pottery painting, indoor play x 2, pamper party, horse riding, bowling and have an entertainer one coming up with a theme.

This is for children turning 5 ^^

Ones we're considering are build-a-bear, local zoo, local farm or trampolining.

Her first bday was at the Childrens Museum and we rented a room and the kids could go play after... her last was at an indoor play center (big one) then Pizza Parlor. I would say most parties are in peoples home - which we did do for her 2nd. But I like getting out- having people show up- then just go home! No real cleanup! haha

Our oldest we've had skate world and swim center parties-- once we took her and 3 close friends to the amusement park (but obviously when she was older). ;)

I love planning parties!!!

Her 3rd birthday was Yo Gabba Gabba themed, I got everything off a super discounted website as I always plan early. Even had the beatbox that DJ Lance uses as goody bags!

For her 4th bday it was The Lorax, that was probably my fave. I got black and white striped paper straws, and ordered some (again super cheap) maribou feathers to hot glue gun around them so they looked like truffula trees. Her cake had a fondant Lorax on it, and then a bunch of cupcakes, which had sticks with cotton candy on top to (again) look like truffula trees. If she had a summer birthday, her goodie bags would've had some seeds or seedlings to plant. Such is not the case with a December birthday though! :haha:

Last year I did Wreck it Ralph, which was fun but that party was at a play place and I didn't really do much because the kids were going to be too busy having fun.

This year I'm doing Lego. So many fun ideas with that! We've also hired a "Mad Science" party, so they will come to our house and do a whole bunch of fun activites for the kids while explaining the science behind them. She's turning 6 this year, so its a bit more age appropriate. Not sure I'd do this with any younger.

Birthday parties we've had:
Themes:
Mickey Mouse and friends
Sesame street
jake and the Neverland pirates (Jake came to entertain them, lots of pirate theme games)
Farm party
Disney Cars (lots of cars themed games)

Birthday parties we've been to:
Themes:
Superheroes (the kids all dressed up, and Batman and Robin characters came to entertain them)
Party at Playground World (its a huge party center with lots of playground equipment for the kids to play on)
Circus party (magician entertainer, circus games set up)
Disney Cars (lots of cars themed games)
Toy Story theme (Buzz came to entertain, toy story themed games)

Holiday parties:
Christmas Cookie decorating party, with holiday crafts (like foam ornaments) and gift exchange
Halloween party with Halloween games, trick or treat in the living room (kids trick or treated around the room and parents passed out goodie bags)
Valentines party where kids made valentines for their parents, frosted heart cookies, played a few games

My favourite party that Callums had was last years one which was at a farm. They had their own farmer and went round the farm, they fed the goats and sheep, bottlefed the lambs, stroked the chicks, sat on a horse/pony etc. They then got 30 mins to play outside in the play area then went to their own barn where they had food and everyone sang to Callum etc. It was a lovely day.

Not sure where you are in the uk but this was a farm in tamworth, all the parents commented on what a good party it was and the kids all had great fun xx
