Chinese gender prediction and shettles method worked for us!

Had 20 wk scan today, knew our bubs was highly likely to be a girl if going on the Shettles method and it was totally spot on! Thrilled beyond thrilled!

For all those who have had a look at the Chinese gender prediction, it was right for me and it was right for two others I know, so.....

Also, our baby's heart rate has always been over 140 bpm and apparently that signifies a girl too......

I want to know what you did differently to go for a girl using the Shettles method!! My sister wants a girl!!

It was correct for all 3 of my other children and was correct for this one as well!

Also her HB at 18 weeks, 4 days was 167! Go PINK!

Hey! Ok so...basically I tracked my cycles for over a year and knew I usually ovulated between days 18 and 22. It varies. And I only have stretchy mucus for one day. So, I knew if we babydanced on day 16, it would be 2 days before the earliest time I would ovulate (day 18). As it so happened, I did ovulate on day 18 the cycle we conceived. And we had babydanced on day 16 in the morning, therefore leaving a time gap of over 48 hours between ovulation and sex. Therefore, plan is only the girl sperm (slower but more resilient) will remain when the egg is released. Worked for us! Good luck to your sister, it's worth a try! xx

We also used the Shettles Method for a boy and we conceived a boy also the chinese gender predictor worked for both of my pregnancies but we didnt really go by then. I also read on another forum that diet has a big thing to do when it comes to gender of your baby. For boys it said to eat a lot of potassium, red meat and salty foods (not too much of course) So I guess that also helped

I am TTC a girl using the Shettles method as I already have a son and would love a daughter now, though I'd be happy with either sex, Just so long as my baby is healthy! I have altered my diet (as best I can!) and positions and timing, I have also followed some old wives tales for good measure! lol. Got a wooden spoon under my bed, a pink ribbon under my pillow and according to the Chinese birth prediction calendar I will conceive a girl! So fingers crossed!

Which Chinese Gender predictor did you use? Because one I read said boy and another I read said girl. Ends up that I am having a girl. Her heartbeat was 144 this time and I think a bit higher (in 160s) at my last exam.

Many people make the mistake of using there actual age when conceived, when you should actually use your Chinese age. Not sure exactly how you work this out, it's based on the Chinese calender. Here is a website that works out your Chinese age for you.

I used this one and it was right with my son, so fingers crossed I will conceive my girl this month!
