bacon buttys and a cup of tea/coffee mmmmm christmas

This thread is getting to me.

I got up this morning hoping that our cereal cupboard had been magically filled with salmon bagels, bacon sandwiches, chocolates and bucks fizz.

Sadly it had the usual out of date packets, an empty biscuit tin and the half bottle of gin I am hiding from my DH so there's some left when I want a drink (it's been there longer than Joseph has been born, which just proves my DH didn't really want that fancy museli he insisted on buying but never opened, because that's what I hid the gin behind.)

So i had a tuna sandwich and a packet of cheese and onion crisps (no gin).

we always used to have sausage bacon and egg sandwiches and bucks fizz at my mums, last year we had nothing at MILs lol, well this year its out first christmas in our own house and as my family will be coming in the morning and OHs in the evening, i decided to just do bucks fizz, with croissants, pain au chocolate danish pastrys etc for whoever turns up in the morning, ill be too busy cooking my first ever christmas dinner!
then for the evening guests they can just have left over turkey and stuffing sandwiches and mulled wine!

We usually have smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on bagels with Bucks Fizz and lashings of fresh coffee.

just toast or cereal here x we like to save ourself so we can gorge on christmas dinner till we explode lol x
always fancy a nice brekkie though x My best friend & her family put bacon on the turkey the night before & then have bacon sandwiches xmas morning x

Usually I just have cereal which is my usual.

Your making me crave scrambled eggs now though lol.
