Oh i feel Christmas coming now I came in here!



1. Wrapped gifts or gift bags?
gift wrapped and then in a bag I am greedy like that.

2. Christmas Tree--real or fake? I have an 8ft fake one and its massive so fake. Though real is always nice to for smell etc


3. When do you put your Christmas tree up? My other half demands the end of november where I get embarrassed in case any one sees as we would have ours up first but since we moved no one is looking in really so be the same this time.


4. When do you take your Christmas tree down? before the new year


5. Do you like egg nog?never tasted it whats that like?

6. Do you have a nativity scene? nope, but this year I can do a home made one with my new baby .


7. Favourite gift received as a child? none that I remember I had to share with a selfish brother so I got nothing really.


8. Hardest person(s) to buy for? my dad! he has everything! and if he dosnt have it it cost way to much.


9. Easiest person to buy for? my son, cars cars cars


10. Worst Christmas gift received? hummm dove pro age! wtf I am 28 not 82! and a book on how to deal with deal from my other half who cant read and his mum and sis choose it for me when I was preg with my son, how nice eh and the gift set also came from them to.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? now. I have to budget for it and want money over xmas and i am only getting for my son, new baby and other half. Oh and grandad.

15. Favourite food to eat at Christmas? chocolate and all the turkey and ham! yum!


16. Coloured or clear lights? clear, i have this row every year i want clear ones and a traditional tree other half wants coloured! so we have no lights as nasty bro took his back to put in his attic and i want clear ones and my OH dosnt.

we have a star but I am not fussed what goes up there.

21. The best thing about Christmas 2010? I will have 2 children all together then! what better for xmas. My own wee family, dinner and surroundings and I want snow. Nice compared to years of sitting alone not being invited to even my own family xmas dinner or other halfs.

Mail!you can't hang an email up and use it as part of the decor, the thought, time and effort of a proper card makes it special.....although not quite so eco-friendly i suppose.

As soon as my husband, the storage and my purse allows.

Given to charity but not passed on to someone i know.

2. Christmas Tree--real or fake? Toughie, I love real but we have a fake. A real one drives the cats barmy and I suspect real pine leaves and a LO aren't a good mix either. I do like the fake one I have though.


3. When do you put your Christmas tree up? 2-3 weeks before Christmas. My Dad's birthday is 4th December so we used to have to wait before we put it up.


4. When do you take your Christmas tree down? 12 days is it? However many days it is before it becomes 'bad luck' to have one up.

After the 13th - thats my Mum's birthday - hard and fast rule in our house no christmas stuff until after Mum's birthday.

Oh lord thats tough - I still have two teddies Wilfrid and Barnaby I was given my first Christmas when I was 2 months old. Has to be them

Either my Mother or my DH - both fussy as hell and my Mum in particular can never hide what she is feeling its always written all over her face!
9. Easiest person to buy for?
ME! Well thats what I tell DH. Either my sister or my niece. All things girly for my niece and anything to pamper herself for my sister (who tends to spend her money on her DH and kids)

A book on tractors from an EX-oh........

Mainly an email and a donation to the local cancer unit - been doing that since Dad was diagnosed 4 years ago. I organise one in work too rather than loads of cards from people you see everyday until Christmas Eve.
12. Favourite Christmas movie?
Oooooh lots- "Its a wonderful life" is a top favourite. "A Christmas Carol" or "Scrooge" or Miracle on 34th Street - love em all

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
As late as I can get away with - I dont like my seasons to crowd in on each other - I like to wait until Halloween and Bonfire Night are out of the way before I get to it seriously. This year probably it will be a teensy bit earlier though!
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Nope! Not unless you count gifts to charity shops in that case yes - MIL bought me something I really really didnt like so eventually 18 months later it went to a charity shop.

Christmas morning! In Germany, they do everything on Christmas Eve. It's one tradition that I wont abide by. It HAS to be chrimbo day lol

People in town..! It gets so packed. I mean, how dare they all go shopping at the same time as me lmao
