Christmas present from lo to daddy

What are you getting your oh from lo for Christmas.

I've bought him an engraved wine glass from lo & his other 2 girls but I want to get him something special from lo as this is her first Xmas

Any ideas???

I was gna say an engraved watch or bracelet but they could be pricey... haven't even thought about getting my OH something from LO x

I was looking online earlier for ideas. I too was thinking mug and I also saw a book on Amazon called Daddy and Me which had some nice reviews. Think I might get that too, then if the mug breaks he'll still have something special to mark his first Christmas!

Do not want to be offensive, but I think for many of us Christmas has become commercialised event with a lot of expecting from each other and often getting disappointed by not getting the "right" things.

I think that's a bit of a sad view Personally I do expect my husband to get something for me 'from' lo - it's our first Christmas as parents and I think a daddy and mummy present is a lovely idea. I'm doing some credit card type wallet photos for him of lo and us as a family as he is away sometimes so it will be nice for him to carry them around. A present dorsn't need to be big or flashy, it's the thought behind the gift that is the special thing. So although I am 'expecting' a present, I really don't care what it is, it's the excitement of getting a present as a mummy that means the most!

I use snapfish for personalised mugs etc you can upload photo onto them. I got oh one for fathers day think it was 5.99 & think 2 or 3 postage.

I reminded oh the other day that he gets my present from lo!!! We were discussing presents at time and he just said ok!!!

I don't care what I get although I would like a "mummy" something but well see

I think getting presents from lo is a lovely idea! We waited so long for our little girl and we are so proud to be parents for the first time this christmas that we are definitely doing this, I don't think it's being overly commercial, just enjoying this exciting time in our lives! I would like to get my husband a daddy mug, off to have a look at snapfish now.

Does your oh drink? I've found great person on eBay who engraves wine glasses or beer glasses for £14 delivered!! I received the one I ordered the other day and well impressed with it

ive got a pen and keyring set and the keyring is engraved and you can put your own photo in it was only £15 which i was thought was quite good it was from very or woolie onlie or something i cant quite remember as it was a mega online shopping shesh lol if any wants to know ill try and find out tho xx

I'm getting a dog tag necklace with LO's fingerprint on it, and I got a tub of sweets that says My Daddy's so sweet on it

LO got DH cuff links that I can put a picture in. But, instead of a picture, I'm going to do his footprints in baby blue on white paper. My parents are helping me with getting the image sized.

When he is older, I'll suprise him with new pictures - baby's artwork, etc.

I've got OH an engraved silver guitar pick with a message from LO on a leather cord type thing to wear as a necklace. I was going to get dog tags but i know OH would prefer the guitar pick! It was expensive but I know he will love it so it's worth it for LO's first xmas!!
