Christmas starter

Hi

Can anyone help with a christmas starter? I was thinking sweet chilli mash and shrimp but not sure on it yet. Any ideas??

My mum always makes creamy mushroom soup it's lush and easy to make if u want the recipe, pm me and i'll pop back and put it on here. Or warm prawns and asparagus with chilli, same thng goes for the recipe. XXX

If I go to my mums, she always does prawn cocktail (stuck in the 70's!)

Last year they came to us and I did deep fried camembert with onion marmalade and warm dinner rolls. Lush!

It's tradition in our family to have a cold fish starter be it prawn cocktail, smoked salmon or a salmon mousse thing

I'm just reading the Xmas Good Food magazine, and they have a recipe for a Smoked Salmon and avacado terrine starter. It looks lovely!
