For those of you who are bored (and want to humour me), anyone want to take a guess at what day ov will be for me this cycle?
    Here are some clues:

Cycle 1 – 1st cycle off BCP, ov CD 26 (pregnant with ectopic)
    Cycle 2 – ov CD 24
    Cycle 3 – ov CD 22
Cycle 4 – Took Soy days 2-6 and am currently on CD 9 with –ve OPK.

The prize for the person/people who guess the closest is a :bfp: and a 9 month holiday for their Dear Aunt Flo.

    Ok so the guesses are:

    foxyloxy28........CD16
    iwanta8a8y.......CD18
    lilfrog07............CD19
    laura6914.........CD20
    wantingno2.......CD21
    mommy2baby2...CD25
MommyMichelle...Hedging her bets with CD20-24....I'll put you down for CD22 cos that's in the middle

    I'll go for CD16!

It's my first month of soy this month and according to FF I ov'd on CD19 (10 days after my last soy day). So I'll go for 10 days after your last soy day hehe

    Good luck

I like the sound of CD16!!! 6 days earlier that last cycle. Please please let this be right! I see it actually made you ov LATER than usual so has lengthened your cycle....what made you decide to use it?

Best of luck ladies - I will let you know who wins the :bfp:

Lol I knew when I posted the last time that someone would guess later than CD22! Oh well. I suppose I don't mind as long as I ov.

Soy Isoflavones are a more natural form of Clomid. We've had several ladies on BnB get BFP's after a cycle of SI.

2016 I'm going to say 20-24, I have no clue on how long your cycles are hun. You can always O with me on CD 15!

There are whole threads dedicated to the topic around here somewhere. Basically soy isoflavones work in a similar way to clomid by blocking the oestrogen receptors in your brain which stimulates the production of FSH (which gets your ovaries growing several egg follicles). Then, when you stop the soy/clomid, the oestrogen comes back in a big WHOOSH which, once it goes over a certain level, stimulates the production of LH which makes the ovary spit out the egg. My problem was that I have “oestrogen dominance” which means the oestrogen is high straight from AF so the FSH doesn’t start flowing early enough which in turn delays my ovulation. Apparently this could also be the reason for my low progesterone after ov (as seen my the low post ov temps and short luteal phase).
    Clear as mud?

2016 that's basically my problem. I'm not releasing an egg and I'm using the soy to trick my body into working! I'm really hoping NOT to have to increase it again.
