christmas tree

help please i need to buy a new one but im not sure as to what to get i really would like a real tree but i know samsam and the dog will ruin it

plus my room is black and white so if i get a fake one do i get a black one or a white fiber optic one also what colour decorations can i put on i like the new look trees but also want some traditonal decorations for it too

what would you all suggest

We usually get a real tree but going to go for a fake one this year, too much stress with Izzy and the pine needles etc!

Do you have to get a white or a black tree? Why not get a normal fake green one and decorate it to match your living room with co-ordinating baubles...

i had a black one last year and didnt like it lol
was thinking of getting a white fiber optic one and getting some nice baubles to go with it

You have to be really careful with white trees though hun, most of the ones I've seen have looked really shocking and cheap. I would go with a green one and coordinate with baubles etc.

yeah i have also been told that the nexy year you get if from the box it will look a grey colour

maybe i will stick to green and have a traditional one this year

That happened to my Mum, she paid almost £100 for a lovely white tree, it looked gorgeous the first year but the second year it looked horrible! It defeats the object of having a fake tree I think, we spent a lot on ours so we could reuse it!

not sure where we will put ours this yr- have a fake one- got 2 new kittens and a 9month old baby- hmmmmmm it is going to be trashed!!!

Id go for a traditional fake one, then theme your decorations.

We have a fake tree, and have red and gold. Love the traditionalz colors. Had purple n silver first year I left home just because I could but changed back to traditional the next year: now I just buy the odd nice decoration each year to add to or collection

im dreading bring out the tree this year because 3 years ago was my first year in my own house and i got a gree tree and all pink dec's and i still have them and every year OH laughs about how bad the tree looked
