Do you put yours up with your LO's or when they are in bed..

I think we are gonna do ours when the twins go to bed.. So they see it the next morning...

I'm doing mine on friday night when the kids are in bed

it will be a little surprise for them when they get up the next morning, plus i'm gonna leave a few tree decorations for them to put on themself x

Chloe and Jaycee have their own baubles that my sister got for their first Christmas so I am gonna let them put them on the tree once I put it up.

Im hoping my girls will have no interest either.. Last yr they were 11 months and they didnt, the cat paid more interest.. This year they are gonna be nearly 2 and I hope they will listen but I doubt it lol

I really don't know. A part of me wants the 3 of us to do it together but a) Darren wont be interested & b) I am a control freak and will just take everything they put on off again so it's neat and co-ordinated

Im like that. I will just end up taking it off. The only person who decorates a tree better than me is my mum in our family!

From the age of like 8, I have even done tree at mums.. Darren's Mum asked me to put hers up for her and everything..I love it so much!

Lol. I have never done my mums tree she just wouldnt let me.. She is a perfectionist so I assume its where I get it from regarding trees!

We'll probably do ours while Harvey is asleep or with his grandparents. Once he's older then we'll all do it together but there's no way we could put the tree up with him in the room just now. He's into absolutely everything and loves throwing things so all the glass baubles would gt smashed.

I usually let the kids help do mine but this year I am thinking I might wait until Dec is in bed and just keep a few bits for him to put on the next morning

i'd love to do it all as a family 'thing' but tbh mads it's still too young to really help and i too am a bit of a control freak
so this is what we do... maddi goes to mums for the night, probably the saturday and me and hubby make an evening of it christmas music goes on and we do it together we then have something nice for dinner and put a christmas film on with just the lights the next morning we pick maddi up and love watching her face

Last year I managed to do the tree with ollie around, this year the kids will be in bed and James and I put it up together, probably with the help of his sister and BIL.

Can't wait to see the kids faces the next morning, I won't be able to put anything under it as ollie currently had a thing for organising and I'll end up with presents everywhere lol!!

No one but me is allowed to touch the xmas tree!! Im a control freak when it comes to the tree and i am the only one that can do it right, somtimes wish i wasnt though, since tying 6 sets of lights to a 7ft xmas tree takes A LONG time!!!
