Chron's Disease

Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone has/had a partner with Chron's Disease & if the medication they take to control it effects their fertility?

We've had a little research and its mixed opinions, some say it does, others say it doesn't

This will be our first baby together as my daughter is from a previous relationship.

Hi there

My husband has severe Crohn's disease and currently on infliximab, it doesn't have any affects on male fertility, hubby has been on several medications and all ruled ok for TTC. Risks are more for females with crohns whilst pregnant.
My husband requested a sperm analysis test to check though as he's had several years of steroid treatment methethrexate injections and this can lose sperm counts but all was ok.
I would double check when your hubby sees consultant again but I think it only affects females with crohns hoping to get pregnant.
